Il Divo, the multi-national pop-operatic super group have sold 75% of thier European tickets, and in the US – sold out their Chicago shows: and the other US dates are moving quickly. They have decided to add 24 shows the tour that begins May 8 2009.
Ticket News reports that the new tour dates will be on sale from 31 January.
Twenty-four new dates have been added to the tour, 10 of which are to go on sale between January 31 and February 2: Susquehanna Bank Center in Philadelphia, PA on May 10; Mohegan, CT on May 12; Fox Theater in Detroit, MI on May 17; Comcast Arena at Everett in Everett, WA on June 2; Rose Garden in Portland, OR on June 3; Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA on July 1; Fox Theater in St. Louis, MO on July 10; Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO on July 11; Wells Fargo Theater in Denver, CO on July 13; and Dodge Theater in Phoenix, AZ on July 15.
Tickets are scaled at $55, $85, $125 and $150 plus applicable service charges. There are also two VIP packages available: The Platinum Meet and Greet Experience includes a premium price level 1 ticket (within the first five rows), a pre-show meet and greet and photo opportunity with Il Divo and a VIP gift package; and The Il Divo Premium Gold Package includes a guaranteed premium ticket within the first 10 rows and an exclusive VIP tour gift. Premium package prices are subject to change.
